曼大校长向中国学生恭贺新年 与中国30所大学建交

曼大校长前些日通过邮件向中国学生拜年。信件全文内容如下：

我籍此兔年来临之际，向曼尼托巴大学及其附属院校的所有中国学生和我们在中国的同僚们恭贺新年，恭喜发财！

希望大家在新的一年中，心想事成，身体健康，万事如意。

曼尼托巴大学与中国有着非常紧密的联系。在曼大的970名中国学生组织了这个学校里面规模最大的国际学生组织，超过一百名教授在进行着与中国息息相关的学习和研究工作。我们与中国36的所大达成了61项协议，我们不但在护士护理专业到科学工程等广泛的领域从事联合研究工作，同时还在学生交换项目上也达成了一致。

在此兔年，曼尼托巴大学的预祝所有的校友及员工在与中国朋友的合作中积极进取，为我们的地球村做出重大贡献！

I’d like to say Gong Xi Fa Cai to our Chinese students, and to our colleagues in China as they celebrate the coming of the Year of the Rabbit. I hope the year brings all of you an abundance of joy, good health, luck and prosperity.

The University of Manitoba community has strong ties with China. Our 970 Chinese students form the largest international student group at the U of M. Over 100 of our professors have direct research connections to China and our faculties ranging from Nursing to Engineering have research partnerships and student exchange programs with Chinese universities. Indeed, the University currently has 61 active agreements with 36 Chinese universities. In this Year of the Rabbit, the University of Manitoba anticipates members of its community to contribute great things to global society when we work with our friends in China and beyond. Happy New Year.
