how to apply EI

my husband had a small business and i worked there. now he sold that business. i don't have job now. can i apply EI and how?

LS is right. you have to be laid off by you boss if you want to apply for EI. if you quit job by yourself, that\'s not legible to apply EI. although your situation is a little bit different, you have to know EI\'s principle is to help you find your next job when you are not working. you cannot go out of country, and should have proof that you have the intent to find your next job.
